Staff and students at King Edward VI College in Stourbridge are celebrating this year’s results, with over 900 students gaining excellent A-level grades.  Maintaining its position as one of the very best sixth form colleges in the country, King Edward’s achieved an overall pass rates of 98.7%, which is well above the national average.  There were 100% pass rates in 26 subjects, with over half of all A-level entries gaining one of the top A*, A or B grades, resulting in 91 students gaining 3 or more A/A* grades.  The College achieved an A*-C pass rate of 76.6%.

Outstanding individual performances included the following nineteen students, who all gained three or more A* grades:

Reflecting on today’s results, Principal Remley Mann said “I want to congratulate all our students on their excellent results, the best thing about this job is seeing so many bright young people go on to achieve their ambitions”, she went on to commend “the hard work and determination of students” and “the dedication of our staff”.
