College transport

The college currently provides alternative travel solutions for some students who live in areas where there is little or no suitable public transport. At present chartered coaches and college minibuses travel into college from the following areas:

  • Bridgnorth
  • Cleobury Mortimer (via Bewdley),
  • North Worcestershire (Alvechurch and Bromsgrove)
  • South Birmingham (Rednal, Rubery and West Heath)
  • West Worcestershire (Martley, Great Witley and Stourport),

The exact routes taken are adjusted each year in order to accommodate as many students as possible.

Whilst the college does provide some subsidy there is a cost involved for students using this transport.  Currently the cost for all of the above routes is set at £900 a year (usually paid by ten Direct Debits over the academic year).  To express an interest in using these services email college at travel@kedst.ac.uk
