King Edward VI College has occupied the same site in the heart of Stourbridge for nearly five hundred years. Whilst the college retains its historic ‘Lower High Street’ address, visitors now access the campus via its main gates in Duke Street (sat-nav users should use the post code DY8 1YR).
Although many students who live in the Stourbridge area choose to walk into college, the campus is easily accessible by car and by public transport and young people travel from across the greater West Midlands area to study at King Ed’s.
For students who choose to travel to college by bicycle, we provide bicycle sheds (and for those seeking more secure storage, there are a limited number of bicycle lockers). There are also showers available on-site for cyclists.
Although parking for student cars is not available on campus (other than for students with disabilities) there are numerous car parks and some on-street parking close to college. The college does, however, provide safe parking for student scooters and motorcycles, monitored by CCTV.
Welcome to College Days (Year 12 lessons as normal) 8:45am on 4th/5th/6th July 2017
