Public transport links

The college is situated just a few hundred yards from Stourbridge Interchange, the combined bus and train station, which provides excellent links to the greater West Midlands public transport network.

Students who live in the Network West Midlands region (the majority of the West Midlands) can apply online (https://www.networkwestmidlands.com/tickets-and-passes/child/16-18-photocard/) for a 16-18 Photocard.  This card allows students to buy season tickets, Direct Debit tickets and cash fares on buses and trains at child rates. Information about the scheme and a 'unique validation code' are available from the college's reception desk.

Students travelling by train from outside the Network West Midlands area (predominantly students from Worcestershire) may benefit from purchasing a London Midland Trains Scholar’s Season Ticket which offers around 15% discount on the cost of travel with LMT.  These termly tickets are ordered through college and prospective students are advised to email travel@kedst.ac.uk early in the summer to declare their interest in securing LMT Scholar’s Tickets.

Hanson’s, a local private bus company, also offers discounted student season tickets for their public 318 service that travels to Stourbridge from Bromsgrove via Belbroughton, Clent and Hagley (these are available directly from the bus company).
