Student Equality Action Group

The Student Equality Action Group (SEAG) plays a prominent role in celebrating the rich diversity of the college community.  Meetings are held weekly with over thirty students attending discussions on current equality issues.  Regular debates are organised by the SEAG for all members of the college community, the most recent being one on feminism.

In September 2015 members of the group met with Nicky Morgan, Education Secretary, quizzing the MP on a range of equality and diversity issues.

The Student Equality Action Group has also organised a peaceful, candlelit vigil at The Bullring, Birmingham for the victims of the Taliban attack on the Peshawar school in Pakistan.
