Trips and visits
All of our international students receive access to a fantastic range of trips and visits designed to help you appreciate Western culture whilst spending time with other international students. Most trips are free although some (for example staying overnight in London) cost a bit extra.
There are lots of exciting events ranging from ice skating to visiting the home of Sherlock Holmes!
In the last 12 months, our students have visited the Harry Potter studios, Warwick Castle and the stunning German Christmas Market in Birmingham. They have met international undergraduates when visiting UK universities, walked around a living history museum, visited London and travelled to Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace). They have met up for pizza evenings, enjoyed making pancakes and carving Halloween pumpkins, and much much more.
We love it when our students help to decide where to go and what to see. If you have a particular interest, perhaps to see a Premiership football match or visit the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon, be sure to talk to your International Tutor and fellow students about whether your interest could develop into a group visit!
An important part of any student's time with us is deciding where they will go on to study in the future. The opportunities we offer for you to visit Oxford, Cambridge and other major universities will provide invaluable assistance in making these decisions.
