Complete your Application Form:
To apply for a place to study at the college simply complete and return our application form. You can apply online or using our paper-based application forms which are distributed during Open Evening / Morning events and are downloadable from our website. If you apply online we will contact your school and request a reference. If you apply using the traditional form please hand your application to your nominated school contact, they will then attach their confidential reference and forward to ourselves. All applications must reach the college by the specified deadline date.
Complete any additional paperwork as necessary:
In addition to the standard application form, which all applicants complete, you must also complete the Learning Support and / or the Access to King Edward’s (A2K) paperwork if appropriate. Please take time to refer to these important documents.
Await your confirmation email:
We will send you an email confirming we have received your application, usually within two working days of receiving your application, provided you clearly print your email address in the required section of the application form.
Await our decision to interview letter:
We write to all applicants confirming whether or not, based on the information contained in your application form, we would like to interview you. It might be that you wait longer than other applicants for this decision. Do not worry. The length of time between your application and our decision to interview depends upon when you submit your application and, if we do plan to interview you, your career aims and your range of possible subjects; this is because we carefully match applicants to interviewers and some interviewing staff have longer waiting lists than others.
Preparing for your interview:
We will use the interview as an opportunity to learn more about your strengths, motivations and aspirations in order to agree the best possible A level programme for you. Our interviews are not intended to be a stressful experience and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. We look forward to hearing from you.
