On the evenings of 3 April and 4 April, the dance students and members of the college dance company took to the stage in the Annual Dance Show. The audience were treated to a range of dance styles, including contemporary, ballet and tap based on a variety of ideas from boundary behaviour of waves in physics to the TV thriller Sweetpea.
The show also included a range of examination and classwork from the A-Level students providing an opportunity for the audience to get an insight into the dance curriculum. As always the students demonstrated tremendous kinship as the dance community all worked together to support each other and ensure a professional experience for all.
The audience response was fantastic and it was lovely to see so many King Ed’s alumni returning to relive their memories of dance at college. The show was a superb send off for our fabulous year 13 dancers who have worked so hard during their time at college and we wish them the best of luck in their next steps.
