King Edward VI College is committed to ensuring all students remain safe and free from harm. We will also play a full and active part in the multi-agency response to safeguarding students and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
We have a Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and Procedure to meet these commitments. This policy is reviewed annually by the College’s Governing Body and can be accessed via Policies and Statutory Documents on the left hand side menu. It is updated annually in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education and includes information on our response to allegations of Peer on Peer (Child on Child) abuse. Please contact Sarah MacKenzie, Designated Safeguarding Lead, if you have any concerns via safeguarding@kedst.ac.uk
