TAG procedures

The College has developed a centre policy on teacher assessed grades that reflects our individual circumstances. The centre policy provides details of each aspect of our procedures to ensure that our teacher assessed grades have been developed with integrity and with due consideration of relevant guidance. 

We recognise that our students have experienced significant challenges throughout the pandemic.  Our teachers have worked tirelessly and with great commitment to minimise disruption to learning and to ensure that students are as ready as they can be for their next steps.  Our teachers have worked with great integrity and in accordance with JCQ guidelines.  Teachers have used a range of evidence to assign a grade which broadly reflects the level of performance students have demonstrated through the assessment evidence.  We hope the information below provides you with clarity on our college processes.
