The college is situated just a few hundred metres from Stourbridge Interchange, the combined bus and train station, which provides excellent links to the greater West Midlands public transport network.
Students who live in the Network West Midlands region (the majority of the West Midlands) can apply online for a 16-18 Photocard. This card allows students to buy season tickets, Direct Debit tickets and cash fares on the bus, metro and trains at child rates:
Students travelling by train from outside the Network West Midlands area (predominantly students from Kidderminster, Worcester and Droitwich Spa) may benefit from purchasing a West Midland Trains Student Season Ticket which offers a discount of up to 50% off the cost of travel. The prices per pass are based on the route that the student will take. Prices are fixed for one term, irrespective of the date the pass is purchased. Simply buy online by selecting the Stourbridge Town station (the One Term Season Ticket option) from the following link:
Once selected, fill in your details as appropriate, including the station you will be travelling from. Tickets will be need to be purchased 3-4 weeks before the start of each term. Before you order your first season ticket, you must have a valid railway photocard which you can get from any staffed ticket office. All you need to get to obtain one of these is a passport size photograph. The photocard number will need to be entered when purchasing your season ticket online each term.
Alternatively, a 16-17 saver pass is a young person’s rail card that entitles students (up until their 18th birthday) to receive a 50% discount off all train travel and can be used with the Trainline app so that a student can pay electronically each day for their ticket.
