Learning Behaviours

To encourage and support our students to be the best A level students they can be, teachers have compiled an overview of effective learning behaviours that considers attendance and punctuality, behaviour in lessons and expectations for independent study.  These learning behaviours are the basis of the ‘attitude to work’ grade on report cards.

Note to parents and guardians: you can support your child’s progress by discussing the expectations in their different subjects with them and encouraging them to aim for excellence.

Note to students:  if you want to improve your grade, start by looking at the learning behaviours for your subject.  It’s a good idea to discuss with your teacher what you should do to improve, if you every have any questions.
