We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news from our college community — Evie Hodgetts (Formerly of South Bromsgrove High School) has been named Worcestershire Young Poet Laureate for 2025–2026!
This prestigious title recognises Evie’s outstanding talent and passion for poetry, and we couldn’t be prouder. Her success in the Laureate competition, where she performed two original poems, is a testament to her creativity, dedication, and voice as a young writer.
Evie has also performed several other pieces at recent events, and one of her poems has been published in an anthology — a remarkable achievement for any writer, let alone one still in education.
