Birmingham-based entrepreneurs Brendon and Jaydon Manders, the brothers behind the seasoning and sauce brand Lumberjaxe, have secured a £90,000 investment for 20% equity from guest Dragon Emma Grede on BBC One’s Dragons’ Den.
Brendon, an ex-student of King Ed’s, and Jaydon impressed the Dragons with their emotional pitch and business acumen. Founded with just £100 each in their kitchen, Lumberjaxe now boasts over 70 stockists and a turnover of £150,000.
“We couldn’t be happier with the outcome,” said Jaydon. “Emma’s investment and mentorship are a game-changer for us. Her support will help us elevate our brand and make our vision a reality.”
Emma Grede praised the brothers: “Brendon and Jaydon are self-starters with a clear vision and a best-in-class product. We’re going to build a food brand customers will love and enjoy every day.”
With plans to expand into major retail chains and increase their online presence, Lumberjaxe is poised for greater growth. The brothers hope their story inspires others to pursue their passions.
Well done Brendon and Jaydon!
