We are thrilled to announce that one of our talented Year 12 students, Sam, has been selected to represent the UK at the prestigious Romanian Master of Mathematics competition in Bucharest this February!

Sam’s journey began over Christmas when he attended a 9-day Maths Camp in Hungary with the UK Maths Trust (UKMT). The camp was filled with challenging tests, inspiring guest talks, fun games, and city explorations, including a spectacular New Year’s Eve show at the Müpa Arts Centre.

Sam’s hard work and dedication paid off, earning him a coveted spot on the UK team. This achievement is a testament to his exceptional mathematical abilities and determination. The Romanian Master of Mathematics is known for being one of the toughest international maths competitions, and we are incredibly proud of Sam for reaching this milestone.

Congratulations, Sam! We are all cheering for you and wish you the best of luck in Bucharest. 🧮🏆
