For Year 12 students currently registered for College Transport, we automatically ‘roll over’ their college transport booking from Year 12 to Year 13 unless we receive confirmation that they will not be continuing to use the coach in September 2025.
If they will not be using college transport from September 2025, please email travel@kedst.ac.uk as soon as possible—this will help us plan effectively for next year. If your child’s circumstances have changed and they no longer require a place on college transport, it is essential to notify us. Without this, the booking will remain in place, and you will remain liable for the cost.
College transport during exam season
College Transport will operate as normal throughout the Summer examination period, with the exception of Friday 9 May. On Friday 9 May, Year 12 students will have a LiKE Day and will not be required on site, whilst for Year 13 students this is the day of their Leavers Event. Transport will operate as normal for the morning collection and drop off at college. However, the afternoon departure time will be 1.00 pm from the lay-by at the front of college. Students using college transport on this day should arrive to the lay-by at 12.55 pm to board their coaches.
Change to Monday AM college transport during summer exam season (28 April-16 June)
There will be a temporary change to Monday morning College Transport between 28 April and 16 June, to ensure students arrive in time for their morning exams. On the following dates, Monday morning pickups will follow the timetable that students are collected between Tuesday and Friday:

- Monday 12 May
- Monday 19 May
- Monday 2 June
- Monday 9 June
- Monday 16 June
