Open Events 2024 Futures Week runs from 13 – 17 May for year 12 students. It is a focus on next steps, especially around the world of work and careers. Students are encouraged to organise their work experience during this week. Students will be off timetable and are not required to be onsite, although there will be a wealth of resources and activities for those not on a work experience placement.
Students will be sharing their experiences from the activities they have participated in when they return to college the following week. They have had a presentation to explain this in further detail. The changes some organisations have made to their operational practices since covid have resulted in it becoming more difficult to find a work experience placement, and so any support parents/guardians can offer is very much appreciated.
