Over half term, we have moved over to a new registry system. It is a big change for the college but it means we will have significant improved functionality going forward. We will no longer be using CEDAR (the software we use for student attendance, assessments etc) and will instead be using the Heart of Mercia system ‘Portal’.
What does this mean for students?
Students will access their page by going to https://student.kedst.ac.uk . This will show them information regarding attendance and assessment grades. We recommend students save this webpage as an app on their homepage.
What does this mean for parents?
It means that very soon you will have access to a live, real-time parent portal. We will send out information and guidance for this closer to Easter. We are aiming to move away from the fortnightly reports we send to you and whilst we move over systems, it might mean you miss a couple of these. Of course, if you want to find out this information at any point, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to provide you with an update.
