A Level Results Day – Thursday 14 August 2025

How to be results day ready:

Remember that preparation is key. Even if you are confident that you will achieve the grades you need to be accepted and are happy with the choices you have made, it is always a good idea to have a backup plan just in case. Here are some key tips:

✅Before results day, make a list of potential universities and courses. That way if you find yourself applying through clearing, you have done the hard work and you can check on the day to see if they have any vacancies.
✅Make sure you’re available on results day because UCAS can’t speak to anyone else about your application details unless you give them nominated access to speak on your behalf.
✅Sign up for clearing alerts.
✅Get a feel for what your shortlisted universities are like.
✅Prepare some questions to ask the universities when you call up.

A bit more about results day:

Results will be available via your student portal from 8.00 am on Thursday 14 August. You will be able to see your grades along with grade boundaries. This will be all the information you need to make decisions about university places and any potential reviews of marking.

Although technology now means we move away from the traditional opening of an envelope on results day, you can still come to college [Hayley Hall] from 8.00 am to collect a hard copy of your results. From 11.30 am results can be collected from Reception. There will also be a range of post-results support available on campus on results day and appointments can be made by emailing progressioncounselling@kedst.ac.uk for one-to-one appointments from Friday 15 August onwards.

We ask that you please enter and exit the campus only by the front entrance on Duke Street during this time.

Further details will be available soon.

🥳 Between 8.00 am and 11.00 am, you will have the opportunity to celebrate with staff and friends.
If someone is collecting results on a student's behalf, they must bring a letter of consent from the student and identification
