Bursary Awards for charitable work

We are proud to support students in making a difference through community service, both locally and globally. Our students have contributed to impactful projects—from assisting in hospitals abroad to supporting orphanages and leading community initiatives. To encourage this meaningful work, we offer two grant awards: The Roy Award, with up to £10,000 for one exceptional project, and The Community Service Award, providing up to £2,500 shared among successful applicants. These grants empower students to create lasting change during their gap year or summer activities. The awards involve an application process and a presentation to a selection panel.

All candidates will have to demonstrate:

  • What the nature of their proposed community service project is
  • How they are proposing to prepare for the project
  • How they propose to utilise the bursary
  • How the community will benefit from their work
  • How they themselves will benefit from the work

Students will be provided more details about applying in their first year.
