Sport

The PE department is strongly geared towards stimulating and promoting the enjoyment of physical activity.

Major team sports are offered, and our teams compete in local, regional and national leagues/cups.

Kedst Sport runs teams for Rugby, Football (M and F), Volleyball (M, F and Mixed), Golf (Mix) and Netball which participate within the AoC Sports Leagues in local, regional and national leagues and cup competitions. One-off regional and national competitions are also offered in basketball, hockey, tennis, table tennis, badminton, cross country and swimming.

Trials for team sports take place from September onwards.

Look at our Kedst_sport Instagram page for notices regarding sports teams.

Our sports sessions are open to all students and are designed to be inclusive, enjoyable, and a great way to take a break from your studies. Subject to demand and staff availability, we offer:

  • Badminton and Table Tennis – Fast-paced, fun, and great for developing coordination and agility.
  • Non-Competitive Basketball – Get involved in friendly games or practice your skills on the court.
  • 5-a-Side Football – A great way to stay active and enjoy some friendly competition.
  • Resistance Fitness Suite – Gain access to our fitness suite during supervised periods throughout the week.

All sessions take place at the Crystal Leisure Centre (except for cricket and the resistance suite) and are a fantastic way to stay active, de-stress, and build friendships through sport.

Get Involved – Sports enrichments are open to all students, regardless of ability, and no prior experience is needed.
