The end of year assessments for year 12 students are a key milestone in their programme of study. The assessments begin on Wednesday 10 May with the last exam on Friday 19 May. This is a key opportunity for students to revise and consolidate the learning from their Year 12 studies, and then identify areas that can be developed in Year 13. Revision guidance will be delivered as part of subject lessons and more general preparation will be delivered through face-to-face tutorial sessions before the assessment period.

Here’s an overview of year 12 end of year assessments:

• Individual assessment timetables will be emailed to students immediately after Easter; an overall timetable by subject is provided below
• Assessment timetables will include the date, time, room and seat number for each assessment
• All year 12 students will be on study leave during the assessment period 10 – 19 May
• During the study leave period, students are only required on campus for their timetabled assessments
• Lessons will recommence on Monday 22 May
• Just like in real exams, students must attend their assessment on the designated day and time and there will be no opportunity to take the assessment at a later date
• Fine art, Graphic Communication and Textiles will run prior to this period. Please check Cedar for your individual allocation session
• Friday 12 May is a year 12 LiKE day unless you have assessments scheduled as per the below timetable. College site will be closed to all students at 1.15 pm on Friday 12 May and college transport will leave at 1.15 pm also.
