Chair – Thea

Hey guys! I’m Thea, your Chair of the Student Union, and I’m thrilled to be leading the charge in making our college experience at KEDST truly unforgettable.

My mission is clear: to foster an inclusive and diverse community where every student feels valued and heard. Together with the rest of the Student Union, we’ll ensure that everyone’s voice matters and that every opinion counts.

I believe strongly in equality and fairness, and I want to reassure each of you that at King Edward’s, every thought and feeling is respected and acknowledged. As your advocate, I’ll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that your ideas are communicated effectively and that we’re all working towards making your college experience as enjoyable as possible.

Vice-Chair – Brannon

I’m Brannon, your Vice-Chair of the Student Union. My mission? To ensure that every student receives the best experience possible during their time at our college.

Working closely with the rest of the SU team, my goal is to listen to your needs, concerns, and ideas. Together, we’ll collaborate to create initiatives and events that truly enhance your college experience.

Sports and Recreational Officer – Aaron

Hey everyone, I’m Aaron, and I’m taking the helm as your Sport and Recreation Officer for the rest of our college journey. My focus? Bringing more sports action and entertainment to campus.

This year, I’m all about introducing exciting sports tournaments that’ll get everyone involved and having a great time. Whether you’re a die-hard athlete or just looking for some fun, I’ve got you covered.

EDI Coordinator – Temi

Hey everyone, I’m Temi, your EDI Coordinator within the Student Union. My mission? To foster a vibrant, inclusive college community where every voice is valued and heard.

As EDI Coordinator, my goal is to ensure that Culture Day truly represents the diversity and richness of our college community. I envision it as an immersive experience where we can all come together, learn from one another, and truly appreciate the richness of our community.

On a personal note, music is my passion. I’m constantly exploring different genres and rhythms, and you might catch me busting a move or belting out a tune when I’m not busy with SU duties. Let’s make this college journey one filled with harmony and unity!

My mission is simple: to support you in achieving what you’ve set out to accomplish during your time here. So whether you’re pondering your next steps or aiming for something more immediate, count on me to guide you every step of the way.

Marketing and Public Relations Officer – Tamina

Hello, I’m Tamina your Marketing and Public Relations Officer. My mission? To bring our events to life and get everyone excited to join in – whether that be trying to persuade you over a screen or in person.

I’m Mohammad, your Secretary of the Student Union. My primary goal is to foster open and meaningful communication between the Student Union and all of you, the student body. It’s crucial to me that every student feels heard and represented in the activities and decisions that shape our college experience.

As Secretary, I’ll be working tirelessly to ensure that your voices are not only heard but valued. I believe that by building bridges of communication, we can create a college community where everyone feels empowered to contribute and make a difference.

Community Outreach Officer – Rhys

I’m Rhys, your Community Outreach Officer for the year ahead. My mission is to fortify the connection between our college and the vibrant Stourbridge community.

This year, I’m determined to rally our college behind local charities, organizations, and projects while ensuring we have a blast doing it. I’m particularly passionate about supporting causes that resonate deeply with our fellow students.

Welfare and PT Liaison Officer – Magdalena

In my role, I’m here to be your ally. Whether you’re feeling stressed, worried, or just need someone to talk to, I’ve got your back. But hey, don’t hesitate to share the good stuff too!
