The college attracts students from a wide variety of backgrounds and locations creating an environment where friendships and learning blossom.

Students  and visitors regularly comment on the warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere created at King Ed's. You can experience this for yourself at our open days in October where you'll find staff and students ready to tell you all about their subjects and the unique atmosphere here.

Should you choose to apply the welcoming feel will continue, at your course consultation and in particular our 'welcome to college' days. These events, late in the summer term are where students defined to join us in the following September have an opportunity experience a lesson in each of their subject choices. You'll also meet present students and staff who will help ease your transition from school to college.

As a student at King Ed's, you can be sure that in your personal tutor group, subject classes and enrichment groups you'll meet like minded people with common interests, where you'll not only expand your friendship groups, but also build supportive networks to enhance your studies.

Be sure to come along to one of our open events to experience it for yourself.

There was an enthusiastic, supportive atmosphere created on open days by staff and students and I just believed this was where I was meant to go.
