Sam, one of our standout mathematicians, is spending his summer at MOP 2025—the Mathematical Olympiad Program hosted at IMSA in Illinois. This exclusive, invite-only camp brings together some of the brightest young minds from around the world to prepare for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
From challenging problem-solving sessions and lectures to mock Olympiads like ELMO (complete with medals and leaderboards), Sam is thriving. He’s placing in the top tier of students and flying the flag for both the UK and King Ed’s.
Beyond the maths, Sam’s made the most of campus life: joining the Singing Troupe for the talent show, designing a T-shirt for the MOP competition, and winning a campus-wide Puzzle Hunt. With plenty of new friendships, creative opportunities, and mathematical adventures, it’s already proving to be an unforgettable summer.
